We are a medium – standing international law firm with physical offices in Nigeria and Canada. The firm’s tax work also covers all business activities including insurance, stamp duty, VAT, and matters pertaining to industrial relations.

We have been active in the Oil & Gas Industry and have only recently been involved in providing advice in the bidding rounds for Oil Mining Leases & Oil Prospecting Leases and have been involved in settling of complex Joint Operating Agreements, Farm Out Agreements and the likes.

We also act for governments, Commercial Companies, financial institutions and private concerns on a wide range of matters including Public Private Partnerships (PPP), real and personal property transactions, joint ventures, project finance, mergers and acquisitions, equity issues, and venture capital. We are active in the development of advanced funding techniques to take advantage of emerging trends in the domestic and international capital markets. The firm is particularly proficient in this area, and our experience has included successfully acting [together with others] in offering transactional advice to Governments and/or other concerns regarding PPP, Contractor in the innovative Loan Syndication/Project Financing Of Telecommunications Infrastructure liaising with Equipment Vendors, Local & International Club Of Creditors, GSM Licence Holders, etc as well as acting in foreign currency denominated trade finance, capital market issue, public offer and Consortium Resource Investment Fund.

Our principal partners, Messrs Kingsley Jesuorobo and Sivbone Edu boast intercontinental legal training and exposure. The duo has over 40 years of combined practice experience. Mr. Jesuorobo has obtained legal training and practice experience in both Nigeria and Canada, and he is called to Nigeria and Ontario, Canada Bars. Mr. Edu has obtained legal training in Nigeria, UK and USA, and has been intensely involved in legal practice in Nigeria where he is called to Bar.

With our highly trained and experienced staff, professional strategy and other technical resources at our disposal, we undertake large and complex transactions or litigation or consultancy work at short notice and complete them quickly and efficiently. Our principal partner, Mr. Edu, studied for a Master’s of law degree at the University of London, United Kingdom. He is also a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. He is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and Member of International Fiscal Association, London. Mr. Edu has, for several decades, been the managing partner of Edu, Edu & Co. [Solicitors], a Nigerian law firm . Mr. Edu has contributed to the Journal of International Banking Law, England. He is also a member of several social and investments societies across continents.
